Just curious if anyone would care to give me any feed back on these two. I know there are hoards of tiger pics out there but for once I was patient in taking the shots thinking of how and when to shoot and also watching what was in my back ground which is one of my biggest faults is getting a descent shot only to have something big and nasty in the BG to kill it. Anyway thanks in advance, and please feel free to comment good or bad I wont hold it against you :P

my advice is too much background, kind of detracts gives the definite feeling of the zoo. If you have the pixels, why not a crop very close as in fill the frame.

I do have quite a bit to work with, Ill give it a shot :)

I don't think I cropped either one yet but was trying to avoid any fences and what not when I took the pics. In the one with the tiger cub I was trying to get some environment in it for a little more colour and attempt to give it a more natural look...

Zoom in as close as possible to the tigers face and be sure to get as much detail as possible (mono/tripod detail). Photography is all about showing people a view they usually wouldn't get to see. I don't think too many people get to count a tiger's whiskers. :)
