A place to share âsharplessâ images
images where the defocus, blur, the choice of focus-point makes the picture special, and worth remembering.
Submit one or many, tips/tricks/critiques welcome.
Dont forget to post em blur gallery

Nice to see everyone still blurring. :-) I'm hoping for a wee bit of free time this weekend (I was just informed that it is indeed Saturday) to comment on stuff. |

I got this while trying out a junk box lens. The lens is from the 1960's so I use it with an extension ring in order to fit it on my camera. I wanted to see how the bokeh would look with it, and I am happy with what it does except that it is very scratched and makes soft images. I have to work on the images in pp to get them to look nice.

BTW, Betterphoto's theme for September is "beautiful blur" (info here). It's to celebrate Tony Sweet's course dedicated to the Lensbaby. Tony Sweet is a great teacher and a wonderful photographer. He's been an inspiration for me for quite a while now.

I enjoyed an old manual focus 105mm lens in the garden for a few minutes this evening about sunset and a little after. The first shot isn't really blur, just shallow DOF. I shot it that way in order to have the fore and background blurred to push up the subject of interest.

Not so sure about 'special' and 'worth remembering', but in the interests of the cosmopolitan, here's some Norwegian cøntry (which yer can all have a laugh about pronouncing).
