Currently not much action. I think that is because I am getting tanked in impressionism. Still hanging in there on my bokeh challenge which I am quite pleased. |

If it can make it to 5.95, it will be my #2 shot. Not bad for it being so windy all weekend that I had trouble keeping subjects in the frame, let alone in focus, lol.
I have no idea what to do for the next Open challenge, so maybe this will have to sustain me for a while, lol. |

You just might because the 3rd place in fill the frame only had a 6.81. So if this is a low scoring challenge you just might end up on the front page. I wish you luck. |

This puzzles me.....I really went all out in setting this up to be a good Bokeh shot, DPC-friendly and all, was VERY pleased with the results, and the two comments I got were highly complimentary and both said they gave me an 8.

We must have fairly similar shots - I'm just slightly higher than you (5.7788) because my commenter gave me a 9. lol |

Jeb - I think this is a really low-scoring challenge in general. I wouldn't be surprised if the winner is sub-7. (Of course, there could be a bunch of 7+ scorers lurking out there that we don't know about...) Still, the prediction stands :-) |

It looks like there are a number of high 6 scores that all will be fighting for the top 10. Good stuff - I liked many of the entries - some really nice work here...
But like Catherine said, there is probably a 7 or two lurking in the grass - I saw a couple that were clear ribbons in my book (unfortunately, not mine!). And remember, we haven't heard from ursula - she is the queen of Bokeh...

| Bit of a rapid fall-off in the last few votes. It seems that this happens on the weekend when the more discriminating(?) voters exercise their mandate. |

Dropped a bit but still going strong. It will be interesting to see if this is a low scoring challenge. If so maybe I can get in the top 10. Now that would be sweet. I have received some very favorable comments which beats a ribbon any day. Thank you all so much.
