I missed the boat on the fireworks entry a while back, but would like some critiques on this shot during the 4th of July. It was my favorite of the bunch. I think had I been able to submit it, it would have done pretty good. What do you think?

That is a really great exposure of the fireworks, I think for the challenge we saw many similar of just the fireworks, adding some element of the ground like a bulding or something seemed to get the higher score. really good colors too. My guess of score would have been 5.6-6.1 :)

I dream of the day we can enter images that size in challenges. Post it at 640px and let's see it then.

I agree about the size, lol. I was just taking advantage of the fact that it wasn't a real submission. Just for you, here it is at 640&150kb....

Still looks very nice. I thought it might go to jaggy hell like anything I shoot with diagonal lines in it when resized.
