If you take youre camera from a hot enviroment to a cold one will this give you any problems with youre camera or lens.

I don't think so, but cold to hot will cause condensation as the hot air hits the cold camera. It's best to leave the camera switched off for some time afterwards to avoid short-circuiting it or something.

Put your camera in a zip lock bag and let it thaw out. |

actually, condensation can be caused when you take it from from extremity to the another. this is VERY bad for your camera or any other electronic stuff.
I am stupid careful when it comes to my Precious. I would recommend others to do the same.
