Just took the plunge-- (not a big dive, kinda like wading into the kiddy pool)
A new Tamrom 28-75 F/2.8 :)
Im just worried that I'll get a bad copy that needs recalibrating!
Im hoping not..

well shit-- I was hoping someone was happy I got a news lens-- it took me forever-- and/or some opinions on it-- but thats cool----

Tamron makes a great lens! You should have lots of fun w/the new toy! (I want new toys...) Post up some pics once ya take it out fer a test drive! Congrats! |

Oh, hey buzz! You'll have fun. It's a fine lens.
Word of advice; keep the zoom lock LOCKED when it's in your bag and while mounting/unmounting from the camera. And it's not like the Canon's that you can manually focus even when AF is on; the Tammy resists manual focusing unless AF switch is off, it doesn't feel right at all. I'm not aware you can actually damage the lens doing it, but I make sure to switch to MF before doing nay prefocusing.
