Young Blood: A Chat with Photographer Joey Lawrence
Checked Strobist today, only to see a familiar name in the most recent entry! Skimmed quickly through the interview, looks like you got yourself a real high profile plug and high praise for the DVD (David says a full review of it will be up this week?).

Quite an insightful interview. He's obviously worked hard to get to where he is. He doesn't owe anything to anybody.
And what's the first blog comment?... "Anonymous said: fwah! $305USD for his tutorial DVD."
Okay, we're not going there. :) |

| Well, strobist is basically a bunch of cheap students... most of the readers there have light kits worth less than that :-P |

Man I loved him on "Gimme a Break!" |
I always found "Gimme a Greak" very disappointing. The dominatrix sex scene just never happened. :-(

Joey represents the art of photography with the technology of the time as well as learnings from his many mentors at DPC, specifically GraphicFunk. I'm sur there's always a big smile on Dan's face when Joey makes the press.
