Just wondering if anybody caught some images of the sundogs in the 'sky' on Thursday. I never saw such a phenomonen. I happened to be on the highway and saw two rainbow streaks in the 'sky'. Didn't have my camera but when I got home I was able to get a bad capture through the trees.
Here is a great site to look at if you have never searched for these interesting 'sky' configurations.
Sundog Site

If you have ever captured these beautiful happenings, post here and tell us where you saw it.

Here is my only image, which does not capture the beauty of what I saw in the open on the highway.

This clarifies what I saw a few months ago. I've never seen anything like it before. I did take some photos but they dont look anything like they did by seeing it for real. Will see if I can find the photo. Can someone explain how a sundog happens.
