Hello all!
I submitted my first entry to this site just last week, for the "Single Light Source" challenge. I assumed the picture would make around 5 or so, it might slightly lower, and that's okay too! I was just wondering if you could give me some suggestions on ways to make my future entries get a little better reception. I only had three comments so I didn't have a lot to go off of and I thought you all might could help in that regard. The picture to me isn't even that great, It was honestly more of a feeler and what not, but I do like the picture. Anyway, I'm rambling!
Thanks for the help in advance.

Thank you very much, Skiing :D
That was indeed very helpful, I got a pretty clear feeling that it's too dark. I think I'm going to use a different monitor to adjust the lightness on it next time. I was using the one calibrated more or less to our printer at the store, and it looked much brighter than the one I'm using now - which must be close to what most are seeing. I'll try and fix those areas (brightness, clutter, etc) on my next shots - and I thank you again! |
