| This evening i have tested the second curtain synchronization with my canon 400d and with an external flash. well with the external flash this feature of the camera don't work. with the flah of the camera no problem. please some useful link? thanks |

What flash are you using and what setting on the flash?

You're only gonna get second curtain sync with eTTL flashes - second-curtain sync requires a dedicated Speedlite flash unit.

If I had to buy a flash right at this very moment, this one would be it. Metz 48 AF-1 TTL
Lot of bang/buck there.
The Sigma 500DG Super is a great unit too.

That's weird, second curtain flash works just fine with a manual flash on my D200. |

Yeah, Nikon totally whips Canon in the handling of flash all around.
