Very nice wok, very easy to follow. The only thing is the links don't work to see a close up of the curves menus.
Great job!

Thanks, Deb. I certainly plan to try this one.
Somehow I never realised that adjustment layers didn't have to be at opacity 100% in basic, so I've already learned something.

Perhaps stating the obvious, but this won't work in Elements, will it? |

You can do curves in Elements, can't you? I don't have a copy of it so I can't check, but you should be able to separate out the red/blue/green curves and create the same shapes. |

Nope, doubt you can do isolate them in elements.... maybe I can find a way to duplicate it, or maybe my head will pop off trying... |

I am using Elements 2.0 with the curves plug in. It doesnt allow me the option to tweak the individual channels. Just one overall curve channel. I wonder if tweaking the individual levels channels would give me a similar effect. |

That was from using the low res image from the tutorial. A couple of levels tweaks, selective color and the hue/sat adjustment layers to b&w with reduction in opacity. Not as nice as Deb's by a long shot, but the tutorial definitely opens my eyes up to a different thought process on editing. Excellent tutorial Deb! |

Thanks for the assist. Perhaps I should invest in Elements and give Tim my copy of CS3. :-) |
