i just looked at the other pictures again and there really are some beatiful photos there had to be some 7's out there. changed my hopes to top 20...maybe 30 c'mon top 30! |

Hmm...I'm very happy with my score. But I know it would be better if people read the description of what Wabi Sabi was...The ones who read it love it (as evidenced in my score!!!!) But i got a couple of comments that show why my score isn't where I would LOVE it to be....lol.
Comments like "I don't see what's everyday about this" or "There is nothing beautiful in this shot" just shows that people are taking it for face value...missing the part of "perfection in the imperfect" or "causing the need for spiritual longing" things like that. Oh well...I really shouldn't be complaining especially since I'm getting a PB so far....lol.

I look it at this one. If the challenge was supposed to be about Wabi Sabi, then that is what the challenge should have been called (with a definition in the details). If the challenge is about Beauty in Everyday that is what the challenge should be called.
Now what DPC likes to do is they like to confuse everyone. They say X in the challenge title and say y in the description. It just causes confusion when voting and comments reflect that. Oh well.
In my vain attempt, I take the middle road... a shot that has neither beauty in everyday nor has anything to do with wabi sabi. :) |

On a more serious note ... I'm getting absolutely glowing comments. I'm very interested to see the vote by commenters. High average scores are nice, of course, but hitting a home run with a specific audience also rocks.
And albc and ... ummm ... someone else with a 6.3ish score, I'll be so bold as to predict top 10 for ya. :)

Well, last night I went way up! Around a 6.6 ish. Now steadily going down. The comments I have recieved are from people I have never received comments from before. Don't know what that means. It looks like it will replace one of my images on the front page. So that is good.

| Yep, those are pretty cool (one is from a non-voter). Score is still dropping - somewhat rapidly for being as far into voting as we are! It's gone down almost a full tenth in the last day. (Reminder to self - this is why you leave scores off, you fool!) |

| grrr...I look with one eye open now since 5.7429 wants to be a 5.8 range, It's the bouncing around that hurts my head. It's been in 5.8 for a bit then bounced out. What am I talking about? I am in 5's!!! I am happy with that! |
