Thanks for taking a look. I spent the day at a bird sanctuary and got a few nice photos. I like the one below, but the as it was quite an overcast day, the sky seems quite blown out. I had to use fill flash on a lot of occasions to compensate for poor light or harsh shadows.

Any suggestions on how I could have improved the shot, and some general comments please?

Maybe if you scooted over to get that branch out of the way. Other than that, it looks really good. Lots of color contrast.
