This will eventually (after voting of course) be home for discussing December Free Study entries that "tanked" by DPC voting standards. To participate, you must meet/agree to the following:
Have a final score below 6
Be of the "I really love my shot" mindset
Post your shot along with why you love it
Accept constructive criticism and/or alternate views on your photograph
Provide constructive criticism and/or alternate views on the photographs of others

This is something i don't like. In order to stay motivated in photography i need to shoot what I like. But here everything us geared around competition and the most commonly pleasing image. :(
Either way I'm learning more and more which helps me make what I like to shoot look better.

Deb, I think I need to be in this! Once again, my best shot for ages is bombing fast. If it hits 5.5 I will dance nakkid on my web cam!!
On second thoughts, my photo appears bad enough! Wouldn't subject you all to that sight:)

| I woke up with 6.0 something. Had 3 positive comments within my first 10 votes and slowly it has gone down all day. Down to 5.4 now. (I love it though!) |

I like this idea! I don't enter as many challenges because I love my shots too much to put them through the challenge voting abuse. :-( I started out above a 6, but I am below a 5 now. :-(

Thus far, I've got my highest scoring entry to date (not that it means anything). But I'll still be below a 6 unless there is a major swing in voting!

| I'm in to. Sounds like it might help me see why it is tanking so horribly. Last night after it got 3, 4's ands then a 5. it started to look lousy, even to me. |
