apparently its when you vote '1' for most of the pictures.
which does bring up the point that admins should not be looking at or changing votes. people should be able to vote as they please, or else its just stupid.

You're wrong. The admins should be looking at the votes. They make decisions on how voting works, and they need to be able to make informed decisions.
I think they are being very hasty in this case, but bear with them. I'm sure their goal is to make the site as easy to use and fair as they possibly can, but they're not going to make the correct decisions every time. |

The admins ARE NOT and WILL NOT be looking at individual votes. We have coded a Vote Monitoring System (VMS as reported in Jeff's suspension notice) that alerts us to suspicous voting PATTERNS. In Jeff's case, he voted 2 10's and the rest 1's in an attempt to sway votes and/or spite us. Attempts to sway votes are strictly forbid against in the rules, and we are making every effort to ensure all photographers have an equal chance to win -- without morons making a mockery of the site.
The FAQ has been updated to include notes on suspension. Even though vote swaying is strictly forbidden, we've been nice to Jeff and a couple others who have very intentionally attempted to sway the challenge by suspending their submit/vote privledges. Any further offenses, as stated in the FAQ, will result in loss of account and ban from the site. In addition, the swayed votes are ignored for average calculations. In the case of the current challenge, Jeff dragged everyone's average down by about .06 -- feel free to thank him for that.
Jeff (jrizzy) is a smartass not-so-friend of ours and thinks he's being funny starting a revolution. Are you done yet, Jeff?

How did you know that you needed to code the VMS unless you looked at individual votes? I don't think there's any reason that, as admins, you should not be looking at the votes. But I also doubt that you haven't done so. |

Reuben --
We originally had statistics in place to show us who had completed voting -- with percent of votes cast. We had several users last challenge cast single votes, and from their photographer profiles we are easily able to see that average vote (as it was their single vote). We obviously have access to the raw databases, but we have only used this access for debugging and the first few cases when we realized this might be a problem. It is all automated now -- so sorry for the confusion.

the reason jrizzy says hahaha alot is because he can't get over how funny www.jrizzy.com looks. quite frankly i can't either. the reason why he terrorizes this site with his childish gestures is because this site is something his isn't and will never be---a success. |
