never mind...not worth it. Dropping like a lead weight in a still pool ever since around noon.

My score has dropped a lot, too. It was 6.7 for a while and is now at 6.14.

it seems that there is some confusion with the meaning of the word 'framing' vs the word 'frame' from the comments I get.

Geez I would like to know why I have been getting 4s for the last 10 votes. Score has gone down a .2 more from the .3 it already went down this morning. Geez Never gone down half a point in one day. Those last 10 votes in the last two hours really killed me. Thanks alot

Kind of surprising score... comments are really good but the score does not reflect it...

Do the entries in this one suck that much? I was hoping for a mid to high five. At this rate I may hit a 5 if I am lucky.

Time for me to start casting my own votes on this one, so I'll find out.

I don't have an entry in this particular challenge, but I will say that it seems I've giving lower scores than I generally do...mostly based on how I see framing used in the shot. I will go back and revisit my lower scores, as I always do, but it just seems many of them put something in the foreground with no thought regarding if it actually enhances the subject - of course, it's all a matter of opinion. I did see some good ones, just not as many as usual.

I just voted and commented on about 15 of them. I thought some of the approaches were pretty creative. I handed out more high scores than low ones. I often wonder what criteria others use that accounts for such a spread in the voting.

Puzzling- I'm hovering around low 5's, but have 2 favorites, and 4 positive comments out of four. Started out high 5, then dropped fast, too. Trolls, indeed...

Two people get it - that is pretty cool.

Please be sure to not call commenters out in a hostile way. Thanks!

Ok. I've been going thru the entries in the challenge and I'm wondering if I've misread the challenge description:
"Compose your subject so that it is "framed" on at least two sides with either foreground or background elements."

The way I understand it is foreground is in front of the subject, background would be behind the subject. Is my understanding correct?

BTW - I have no horse in this race, I just want to make sure I'm not missing something and that I'm considering "met the challenge" under the correct parameters while commenting & voting.

Just curious here. If it's in the shot and it's not the main subject....what would you call it? Even if it is only an inch in front or behind?
