Anyone there tell me the difference between HOYA pro 1d filters and HOYA super hmc pro 1d filters as i've seen both advertised. Are they the same thing,or has one replaced the other as i've read somewhere else.As i'm about to buy a HOYA circular polarizer i would like to get the right one. |

They'll both fit, I think that one is thinner than the other. A circular polarizer is 2 peices, one on top of the other and they come in different thicknesses- the thicknesses make hardly any difference to the image but can save valuable space in a kit bag if you really need it.
I have a 67mm hoya polarizer and it works fine. It cost me £16 on ebay. |
