Here's day 1 for Feb.
 This is the view outside the front window. It's the neighbors tree. They moved out 3 months ago and put the house up for sale, but I think it's sweet they still come back and fill that bird feeder.
 We got quite a bit of snow yesterday. Petey was having fun playing in it! |

I'm starting out doing some experimenting with layers and textures, but I'm not sure where I'll be going with it. Just wanting to do something a little different. I took these today at work.

My granddaughters 1st day at school. Hooray! She was so ready for it.
On the same day I took my son to a information lecture at a college
only to discover he had to complete an entrance test and interview,
talk about unprepared! There were a few tense moments there, not
to mention I got the blame for ruining his short snotty teenage life etc.
but it was all smiles when he was accepted. I rushed home to get back
in time for an interview with a homeschooling authority, which I find
very stressful. Being scrutinised in your own home, no matter how
pleasant the interviewer, is very personal and intrusive. It went well.
Then I cooked dinner for all four generations of our family.

for those of you who don't know, I have been here in Rosebud SD on the Sioux Indian reservation, working as the hopsital ObGyn for the last 2 weeks...it has been great! Tomorrow is my last day & night & then back home to VT. I will be returning here in March however, for another 2 week stint

Here's my day 2. I know I'm a few hours early, but I figured this way I might not get behind!
 This is our local war memorial. It lists the names of all the veterans from the area.
 Here's another eagle. Sorry I couldn't resist! I was underneath this one praying that he wouldn't decide to poo on me! |
