After several years of availability, the current version of the popular 'LucisArt' plug-in will cease to be available as of May 8. It will be replaced later in the summer with the new advanced 'LucisArt' Pro plug-in, aimed at professional photographers.

Actually it's useful: I'm debating getting this plug-in and given that the cost will triple it's relevant. |

It looks to me like he's selling it through his website? This makes me feel as if he's a car salesman telling you that the price will go up tomorrow, so you'd better buy it today.
Looking at a few of his other posts, they are about software, but not always sales-oriented. I think he's a regular Joe who's just mostly interested in software. Which is fine by me.
HOWEVER...
I'll never, ever buy ANYTHING if the sales guy gives me a buy-it-now price.
