i currently own a 18-135 nikkor lens and i am looking to sell it and get the tamron 17-50mm f2.8 is that a wise choice?
notes:
i rarely use the range above 50mm , if i do i use my other lens.

I have heard excellent things about the Tamron and intend to get one myself.

I have the Tamron and it's an excellent lens. Very sharp and well-built, and the constant f2.8 is very useful. |
