I am planning to try out Inmagines new service IRIS which lets me choose the price, licensing model and other stuffs.
However I am not really sure how much should my pictures be sold at and when for it to be RF or RM.
How do you guys usually go about this?
You can check out their page here //submission.inmagine.com/ if you haven't heard of their service.

That sounds pretty cool.
I would take 3 comparative images for the ones you are selling and see how much they go for on different sites.
I'm in the same boat though - starting to get into this. A rule of thumb I use for price is I ask myself ... "self ... if this item were to sell at this price, would you be happy?".

looks interesting.
I also wonder how they are going to market it differently than their other offerings.
thay also own the microstock site
//123RoyaltyFree.com
as well as their regular site
//www.inmagine.com/
so is iris just an uploading back end for inmagine??
Also interesting in that 123Rf just started a program called EVO on 123RF that prices the images in the midstock catagory.. how is that all going to play together??

Yeah I heard about EVO too. But it seems that is invitational based only. It seems like alot is going on at Inmagine's camp haha but hopefully it all goes fine.
I've always liked their service. |

One way many people look at it is the uniqueness of the shot. If the shot is rather mundane in content and easy to reproduce and there are a lot of similar choices you may want to simplify things and go RF.
If you have a real unique image with little competition them RM may be the way to go. |

Does anyone actually have experience with Inmagine? |
