This photo doesn't belong to me...but it is a photo of my daughter, Kita. In the last 6 weeks, she has been on crutches (from kneeing herself in the back of her knee whilst running!), a Black Eye from a swimming race, a fractured elbow from playing on the scooter and a twisted ankle from playing Squash. I think she needs to give up sports...lol!!

So in answer to some of the questions....yes the injury is for real. She narrowly missed having to go through to the coast for an operation. She gets her cast off, while Damion and I are overseas.

awe, poor thing. I can totaly relate to her when I was a kid, I broke more bones and sprained more joints than I care to remember. Before she knows it the cast and bandages will be off and hopefully no more for some time. I hope she has a speedy recovery but I leave this.

When you are young you heal faster, go play hard while you can, but try to keep a margin of safety while you are having fun...

*best wishes*

The cast hasn't stopped her. In fact....less than two hours after coming out of hospital she broke her cast....straight across the elbow...DOH! That is why she is now wearing the purple cast. And she played squash on Saturday....finishing with the twisted ankle...she will never stop...lol!

She's just like one of my cousins in Melbourne and her children - always accident prone (though my goddaughter hasn't been that way yet, but she's only just turned 4). ;-Þ
