Went a bit overboard on this edit. Not my usual style but I did have fun with it. Aimee doesnt much care for it. ;) |

Edit #3
...
White is so darned difficult. This took a lot longer than the description says...
Severe crop, used curves on the white petals to bring out the detail, sharpened the petals, more sharpening on the bee, darkened some of the detail on the green leaves. |

I had to stick close to home for day 2. Word to the wise...If you ever take up rock climbing, in a gym or otherwise, you will eventually lose your grip. When you do, there will be a split second where you think to yourself "If I can just hold on with the other arm I'll be able to recover." You won't. :-) What you will probably do is rapidly remove some layers of skin, pull tendons and muscles in the other arm, and quickly realize that you are an idiot, and there are pads on the ground for a reason. Namely to fall on.
Anyhow! Little bridge down the street from my house. I've got lots of pretty pictures of it, so I thought I would try and give it a different feel.

Now, I guess I am in the right challenge.
This is a bit of a stretch, but... This was a snap shot of my neighbor's grand daughter.

DAY 2
before after
The after image is what I was disqualified for and started the stir about using radial filters. I wanted to create a dream/nightmare type image and this was the result.
