Thanks to the organizers and everyone who participated for a great time. It was a pleasure and honor to meet all of you. I've got a gallery of DPCers up, and eventually, a gallery for models and and other things.

My liver has almost recovered...

Cheers

ETA: just basic lightroom processing. Nothing special. yet...

Nice photos Kyoko! :)

I'd have to know what to do with it before walking off with it. : )

I guess this could be called a thread hijack but it is related, we all went to the workshop and some are still on their way home. Ralf, Maike, Frank and Andrea pulled in my driveway late yesterday afternoon on their way to visit Seattle and then on to Victoria and Vancouver BC. We talked them into spending the night and then went out on a whirlwind tour of Anacortes & Fidalgo Island (my home). Despite the harsh light we found some of my favorite close in subsets to photograph and had a great time. Here are a few of their visit.

it was used by people with D40/D50/D70/D80/Canon stuff to attach to the monoflashes since their cameras don't come equipped with sync jacks -used during the nude shots- worth 25$ or so

I haven't looked in the studio kit since the workshop - there's a chance it ended up in there. Kosmi and Kiwi shot with it in my studio monday and tuesday nights...i'll look in there this afternoon and I'll ask those two as well. I'm sure it'll turn up.

Finally had a chance to have a look at a few of the limited photos I took during the last few weeks of debauchery. Somehow photography didn't seem to be a priority during the photography workshop - weird.

anyhoo...this is what I found.

Peter - great candids (and not so candids). But who would expect less from one of our fearless leaders? Thanks again for your work. Who knows, now that I have a little bug for shooting people I just may start.

I'm doing a video/slide show for a trip to Michigan/Mackinaw-Island. For the AAA-bus tourists. I shot a Grizzly and a Moose for them at Cabellas Hunting/Fishing store. They have 4-story mountain scenery with every big game stuffed and smiling. See my Elephant Entry in a challenge, fooled a few.

I can (and will) only continue until and try to get as good as the top photographers here, Yanik, you're one of them.

On the way into Calgary for the Workshop I spent a night on the Icefields Highway. If you have never been there and driven the stretch between Lake Louise and Jasper it is a must do. Wonderful mountain scenery and wildlife aboud.

Here are the first of the shots I took, more to come.

[Reformatted to 5-across instead of 7, for narrower screens]

Here are some photos I took. I only did everything possible in the CS3-Bridge, nothing with PS-Layers, except one with a frame.
I recently upgraded to CS3, and am starting to like it more. Lightroom is cool, too. These are about a third of my editing marathon results last weekend. I may submit some for the Free-Study.

I used to have a tendency to over edit, heavy on the pedal (slide-bars) in the raw editor.
Please let me know if you think that's the case.

I'd love ya forever and beyond!!!
