Ok now you got me turning all red and stuff ;)

a few from the walkabout & our trip through the rockies (we saw a bear too!!)

all preliminary.. little editing / pano's are proofs of 1&2 meter pics ;)

I Dont have any processed from the walk abouts yet but uploaded a few of my favorites from the model shoots. There are a couple nudes in there but have been flagged as such so if youre at work and have the filter on you shout be a ok :)

Good thing that I wasn't there. Steamroll me and you will end up with some serious injuries.... ))) Hope Laurent will be there next year, he loves to be disturbed in his sleep...

Sorry I still haven't gotten any pics off for the models' perusal. Now that I have my computer back it's deciding to act up :(
I doubt there's anything they'd want anyway, but I did promise!

It's such fun seeing everyone's shots of what was a GREAT weekend :D

On my day-late arrival back to Cleveland, with my Laptop and Camera bag on each shoulder, I was following a Blond girl from Akron and a Guy with her. In the deserted huge room walking toward the Baggage Pickup area, they were greeted by two college aged girls, who came running toward them and gave them hugs.

There was no one there to greet me. Being close behind them, I also outstretched my arms with a big smile. Suprisingly, they almost hugged me, too. I was just clowning around, I would've stopped short, too.

I'd like to see more of the Sunday photoshoot from others, of Jacqueline, that we did on the Downtown Calgary sidewalks. There were about 5 or 6 photographers there.

You're right Lesley, I have those places in my "backyard" and am still speechless when I see shots like that. Great work J.B! Appears you should have been the guide on the hike instead of me. ;-)

Oh, BTW, you mentioned the Weeping Wall during the winter? Here it is.

Wow! I had forgetten about that shot. Someday I'll have to visit in winter.

Although the model was stunningly beautiful, I find it interesting that a woman with breast implants was used for the nude shoot.

I have nothing against them, but to me, something 'fake' like that really subtracts from the fine art nude.

Mulder, art is subjective and everyone has an opinion.
This was a workshop and the focus was less about the model than it was, about the learning.
The participants were all skill levels and some had never even worked with models before let alone nudes. They were taught lighting, positioning, how to communicate with the model by example, and proper etiquette.

From the models perspective: It was amazing to find someone willing to pose nude first of all secondly she volunteered to help us out and she hadn't done much nude modelling previously if any at all.. not to mention she was in front of 24+ people. She had multiple cameras pointed at her all day long,with people barking out orders for positions and poses. She was gracious, attentive, professional and she never lost her great smile through the entire experience. Its a little daunting taking your clothing off in front of one person for most models.. never mind as many as we had around that day. She has an amazing body which she works extremely hard to maintain (fitness competitions/modelling) Implants or not.. my hat is off to her and the assistance she provided for the day so people would have the opportunity to learn and or improve on their skills.

Violinist: If you read the thread title.. Its safe to assume there would be nude pictures in this thread ;) ... Just pointing out the obvious.. sorry if you were offended but probably best to not click on threads that have the word Nude in the title if you don't appreciate it.

Edit to add:

I just wanted to say I've been quietly watching this thread (with envy) and very much enjoying looking at everyones gallery of photos here! Awesome stuff from everyone!!

I think Violinist is complaining that there aren't MORE nudes in this thread :)

And Shecoya, I completely see your point! However, I wasn't saying anything at all about the model, how her body looks, how nice she was, or what circumstances she was under for the shooting. I simply find it interesting that a model with implants was used for this type of nude work.

I appreciate your comment about the workshop being more about learning than the model though.....great point!

;) Yeah I "edited to add" in my original post to Violinist thanks for the clarification though :)..

and the other stuff: I was being protective over our model.. but in all honesty and personally I think breasts are breasts and naked is naked.. implants or not.. keep in mind thats my personal opinion.

I think art and even fine art can be created no matter the subject or material you have to work with.. again subjective
but another viewpoint all the same :) I do appreciate your feedback and opinion!!
