I was just looking through an old challenge and saw that the Piclens add-on was available for challenge results! If you haven't used this before it gives a little play button on a photo and when you click on it makes all the photos appear like they are on a gallery wall that you can scroll through really easily then click the a photo to enlarge it. Really handy for flickr and google searches.
Link to add on, //www.piclens.com.
Portfolio images aren't available yet but maybe in time it will get added too!
Just thought I would share.

terrific! I've always wished there was an easier way to view the results, and this definitely works. I do wonder if the number of views get counted...

still, this is a GREAT way to stroll through the photos!

Very, very nice. I'd seen this once before, but hadn't kept with it. Just exploring a few challenges with the wall view really makes it easy to scan and zoom in on the ones that interest you.

It took me a minute to realize how to do it: go to the results page for the challenge, not a particular image in the challenge, and click on the little arrow in the lower-left of any image.

It should work with any full size image from a challenge. It takes a sec to load but if you scroll over the image it pops up. :)
Don't think you get image views added though...

WOW that's cool! Thanks for that. Love it.

Anybody figure out if you can adjust the slideshow speed?

I've been using Piclens on Flickr, it will be awesome to be able to use it here as well! I suspect I would have eventually noticed that little play button in the corners. Thanks for the tip!

For those that don't have it yet Piclens as well as Greasemonkey seem to work fine on the new Firefox 3 as well!

Doesn't work on Safari 3.1 on the Mac . . . yet. Does work on Firefox and Safari 3.04 for Mac OS X

Only problem is, you can read the comments using Piclens... nor leave one for that matter, and you can't get directly from the Piclens image to the DPC page by clicking on it, as far as I can see...

there is a small earth symbol on the title bar which drops you into the page the image came from .. ..
(on firefox3 ...)

Love the interface. Did someone have to change the coding, or did the last update to piclens enable it? In any event, in case you haven't tried it, when you are in the large image mode of piclens, you can use your mouse scroll wheel to move from image to image. Neat! As mentioned the little "earth" image will move you to the image page where you can make comments and whatever. Then you can click the icon saying, "Return to Piclens" and you're ready to scan around some more.
