Hey Guys,

Hoping to get a gang together up in Vermont this year in the Quechee/Woodstock area. I was thinking we could do the Gorge, VINS (raptor rehab center), and some of the covered bridges in the area. We are aiming for Saturday this time. If you are interested in comming please add your name to the thread, more details here as they become available. Should be a great time.

Ah, if figures that you guys would wait until after I move out of the state to do this! ;-) I grew up in Rutland but live in NY now and only make it back to VT about three times a year. Sadly, September isn't one of those times...

But your list of locations look good: Quechee was always fun, and although I haven't been to VINS since I was about 6, I hear that it's still a great place.

If you're serious about shooting covered bridges, here's a link to a full listing of them in VT. I've worked for a while now trying to shoot the covered bridges in Rutland County when I'm back there and the site has always delivered good info.

Sounds good Robert, If you want to come up to my house you are more than welcome to drive up with my wife and I if you would like. We live in Candia,nh right outside of Manchester. Not a huge savings but its something.

That may be doable, let me check the wife to make sure none of her family will be in town and get back to you. I have to warn you the spare room has a twin size race car bed in it for my nephews :) lol.... We also has a futon, if you perfer. I will definately let ya know.

I got you down for taking a spin in the bedroom Robert dont worry. If my wife doesnt have family over, I will open up the couch and the floor at my house also to those interested. Also I live out in the middle of now where, if you want to camp on my front lawn I would not have issues with this either... lol :-)

Although, I cant get to many into my cars. I only have a corolla and a grand prix.

Hopefully this helps make a decision and I will post when I have a definate answer.

Ahh these GTG's are getting closer to home. The date is pretty far for me to plan anything but I may be able to attend this GTG if things go right for me health wise and I'm back at work.

Put me as a maybe, maybe. :D

Vermont is one of the most pleasant and beautiful places I have visited. The serenity of the countryside takes me to levels of relaxation I cannot achieve elsewhere. It's been a while, hope I can make this.
