Honestly, while I don't think that this photo is excellent, I do think that it's technically alright, it has character, is funny and meets the challenge without a doubt. It's one of those times when you're more surprised than usual that you didn't get a higher score.
It's not so much the score really, but I just wanted to ask/talk about the fact that maybe this is a photo (and title, more importantly) suffers from some people simply not "getting it"?
Has anyone ever felt that way about their submissions. Like... "Oh darn, my entry isn't doing well. A lot of people probably don't get it."
It especially feels that way since most of those who left comments and liked the entry said that they loved the title =p
For more info on the title of this entry of mine, this like will probably help. Hehe:

Almost everyone, almost all the time ... ;-)
Perhaps my favorite example of my own ...

I skipped voting on that chllenge, but I totally get it. I love "all your base"... and "badger, badger", and "the Lllama song". Having been in on the side challenge that got you doing the staplers helps me get it as well. I think it's a pretty good idea, though as you already know the lighting was too plain.
My own entry in the sister challenge to that was not understood by many, either. I got hammered with DNMC's, but somehow still managed a 5.
