I took this picture today and i would like to hear some comment or suggtions on it. thank you.

I definitely like the 2nd picture more than the first.
The first one seems a little washed out, and there are many little distractions (such as stray hairs and dots)
The lighting in the 2nd photo is good. One tip is to not place your subject directly into the center of the photo. If you had moved the camera to the right, the cat would no longer be centered, and there would be more "room" for his gaze. This might make the composition a little more interesting.

well its hard to make cat sit still let alone get a good picture of them worth showing..
