Just a bit of explanation on my Free Study entry... While this particular image appears to have nothing to do with a "trash the dress" type of shoot, that is indeed what we were about to do. When I saw the flowing grass I just had to stop Heidi and get her picture in the grass.

My Free Study entry:

I printed the image up as a 24x36" poster. It came out looking a LOT better than I expected. I was *so* impressed. I gave the poster to Heidi this morning:

Not only did you get a great print, but I think the entire series demonstrates a continuing maturing of your photography. Great work!

I love the direction you've taken with these!

Are we seeing another side to your personality, or is it just mid-life crisis kicking in? ;-)

Wow David, that looks like a fun shoot! You and the model both did a great job.

Yeah... the first one was edited quickly (I was super excited to enter it into the Free Study), and the 2nd one (like much of my work) is unedited. I really need to slow down and do a better job. But wow... I've almost forgotten what it means to have "time on my hands". :(

Thanks for the compliments though. I had fun. Hope to do it again. :-)

Haha... I think I did the mid-life crisis thing already. Now I'm just "expanding". (in more ways than one)
