Hi all,
After having my (my partners) camera for over a year, I have now taken an interest into using it properly, and not just the pre programmed settings. I always used the auto button before and the icon with the flower pic!!
Over the last few weeks I've been out and about attempting to take photo's and I'm trying to learn how to use my camera to its fullest potential.
I have the canon eos 350d. I would love to receive any help, tips, critism and complements!!
Please comment on my pics.
Thanks
Kerry

Hi Jezna!
Welcome! I am pretty new here also, and new to photography. This place is pretty addictive, I hope you enjoy it here! Can't wait to see your photos!

Hi Jezna,
Welcome aboard,
My recommendation is first, you need to know your camera well,
I would start by reading your camera's manual, btw don't underestimate this knowledge, I've read my manual 3 times till now, and yet I still refer to it every now and then.
This would be a good start.
Cheers,

Yes...Ameed is right....and don't hesitate in reading as much as you can on websites and asking loads of questions. No question is too silly.

Would it be a daft thing to say that I have no idea where the manual is? I've moved twice in the last year. Think i'll need to purchase a new manual!
Thanks for all the posts. :) |
