| maybe it' just me, but it seems that every once in a while there is a wave of bad votes... it's like some people stayed up late and they are getting the voting out of the way so they just run through all the pics quickly and are very harsh on the voting... it's rough... i wait till I have time and go nice and slow... |

That's one theory. Some just give 4, 5 or 6 votes and move along quickly, like myself. Unless they're really bad and I score them a 3. I then go back to the 4's, 5's and 6's and take a longer look and adjust my vote. Many operate this way here, in fact I picked it up here. :)

What I don't understand is the views. Why so many views but only a fraction of that become votes. Why would so many view the image without voting? Are there that many that do not vote but still browse the images?

I almost always browse through them once first from the thumb page, then go back and start voting. |

I usually don't vote in the challenges I enter, but still like to browse the images and comment occasionally. I'd bet others do the same as well. |

Humor is far too often unappreciated. I see a bunch of people went the humor route in this challenge, letting technicals slide. I like it. It's a good challenge for it. |
