its gone down to 4.9 in the abstract b/w c. im a litle concerned that i might not be as good of a shooter than i thought-

You'll soon learn that some challenges, usually the abstract ones, are very difficult. Don't take these special challenges too seriously.
FWIW, I also have a 4.9 in the current B&W Abstract challenge. |
