I'm getting hammered in both challenges, thinking outside the box is the best way to get lambasted. Oh well both photos were loved for what they were intended for and that's all that matters to me:)

Off to Toronto now, our youngest has to film in a movie today (just a small part in this one) and tomorrow (if they don't get finished) and our oldest has to do some voice over work for a television series as well. I'll check in later tonight when I get home. Could someone please come over to my house and hit the update button for me, I'll soon be in withdrawal.

Om my - I'm down to 4.72 If it drops below 4.5 I think I'll Self-DQ. I don't want a score like that on my record. OUCH.
Riversong - I can't imagine why you're not in the 6's - are there any comments that explain what issues voters have? I thought your shot was beautiful.

All of these scores are way too low for the quality of the photos. I think the Olympics is making people vote unrealistically.

I think that all of the photos are easily high 5's to 6's.

I think this is a concern. I don't know if one could ever prove it. It's a shame if it's happening.

Good Luck everyone. I agree this is a tough crowd of voters. My score is typically in this range though.

Two people stated the skin tone was blue, one stated the eyes needed to be more in focus and one person said they raised my score from a 7 to an 8 because of the blue tones!! Typical stuff....a wide range of opinions, but all are correct.

psst, is it legal to type the comments, I can edit them out?

The comments are all positive though, I guess I'm toooooooo much outside the box this time. The shot is taken in a studio though, I guess we put to much thought into it. Oh well, my free study is doing worse and it has a fave + 8 positive comments. Voters are a fickle bunch aren't they :)~

Sorry team, but I am out for this week! I shot a wedding over the weekend, and while I took almost 3,000 photos, not one of them was for the tournament! :)

I'll make it up for next week.

I have an idea which I will be shooting tonight.

I've been finalizing a presentation for the local camera club so haven't had the mindset or the time to shoot yet.

I did a mock setup last night so hopefully I get something usable.

Wow! Sounds like we are all on the same busy boat here!

I've taken so many different play and work images this past week and they all look like snapshots. No one wants to pose for me in a work shot such as raking leaves or chopping wood. I can't bring myself to take shots of children playing because of privacy issues. I've taken images of dice falling on a board game and that stunk. I took my Greyhound to a closed in baseball field to let her run and play, but she mainly stood by my side. SO much for the play photos for that session. I'll post those images on Flickr, but don't expect much from them. :(

I'll find a shot today!! I'm heading out now to find a work shot by golly. Good luck to everyone. We'll rebound next week and 'shoot' ahead of the crowd. I know we will. Good Luck everyone!!!!!
