I had to read it to figure out how he "landed"..... Had images of ploughing into the ground at 100knots with a pair of wheels in his hands :-) See he took the cheap way out and ditched :-)

I watched a TV show on this guy last year, flying around the Alps with his jet wing, lots of close-up pictures, absolutely amazing... Also insane, but what the heck?

I watched that this morning on the Today Show. It was pretty amamzing! They said there's supposed to be a special about it on the National Geographic Channel this evening. |

this is pretty cool but what I would love to do (if I had a stronger will and heart...oh and life insurance) is fly like those guys that fly without power (I guess that's gliding) with those special suites that trap air. I can't youtube it right now since work blocks that site but I'm certain someone knows what I'm talking about and can link us. I think he mostly jumps from helicopters and can glide great distances. It has got to be so thrilling.
