This should be a very interesting challenge to view and vote on. I'm excited as I was planning to walk the town this week just shooting whatever I can. Great timing. |

Why on earth is it advance editing??? Now I might feel the urge to turn a homeless person into Donald Trump. :P |

I was thinking of using my grunge tools to turn Donald Trump into a homeless person. |

This is exactly the kind of challenge I want to enter into, and exactly when I start crying because I live in such a boring city. No deros, not enough crime, no history, its all too damned 'nice'. Oh well, I'll have to get seriously creative somehow. But it doesn't necessarily have to be in a city does it, can we enter ANY kind of shot on a street, such as a desolate one in the middle of nowhere? |

Actually, the local Maccas is one of my favourite Maccas to go to, so tropical. I used to drive up there every year and stay on our way to family holidays, and always looked forward to that Maccas when I arrived...not that that helps you...
How about heading to the police station and asking if you can do the rounds with them one day??? |

Street does not equate to poor, down and out, or grunge. Street is people. They can be rich, poor, attractive or not so much. Life. Go out there. Capture some of it. :-) |

Street photography, kids jumping robe on the street, or sidewalk... kids buying ice-cream, a street runner, bus stop.
There are tons of ideas, from NY streets to a side road that looks nothing.

Cool, advanced edited bums to make up for the Poverty challenge's basic edited bums. |

Yup, Norman Rockwell could have done well in this challenge. |

Yeah, advanced really isn't needed, but maybe it was just to keep it for members. I really look forward to voting the challenge, though I'm not all that disappointed with the idea of shooting for it either. :-) |

I've only got two days to shoot for this challenge. Today and tomorrow. So for today I headed up to Boulder and plan on Denver tomorrow. Boulder was kind of a dud. Not a whole lot of people, and it was even lunchtime. I found a good spot and waited for people to walk into the frame, but Boulder people are so dang friendly, they waited for me to finish taking the picture. One guy even asked, "did you get the shot?" NO! Let's see what happens in Denver tomorrow. This is fun. |

Yeah just the other day you were complaining about not having enough wildlife to shoot. Now you have a plethora of opportunities for this challenge. I better see you in the top ten! |

Actually I was expecting to see her score with an 8+ but I didn't want to give her too much pressure, ya know? |

Pressure? Heh! Now you just watch... I'll not get a thing. Can I enter one I already shot this month?? On the plus side, I may not be in the top ten (or top 100 for that matter) but I will very much enjoy shooting for the challenge. :-) |

I'm absolutely dying to give street photography a try, I never have and find it such a great subject; it's also the only subject I'm afraid to try for fear of having an irate person who didn't want their photo taken going off on one at me and even lunging for me or my camera. Edinburgh isn't quite the friendly capital city it used to be, beautiful though it may be.
