[thumb]733301[/thumb]I'd appreciate some comments on this picture. If you think it is bad, don't hold back. It is hard for me to judge and I would really appreciate objective comments. What about for stock? Do you think it would be any good, or not?

I'll stick my neck out here :) The lighting/sunshine is too bright and there is too much water, creating more of a distraction than an enhancement to the picture.

OK That's good. I appreciate your honesty. I have looked at it too long to be objective any more and I need that objectivtiy. Thanks.

Bumpin to the top before I hit the hay. Please don't hold back and anyone just give your opinion on your first impression of this pic. All input is valuable and NO offence at all will be taken. I have no real attachment to the picture. I just need to know what others think. So all opinions are valuable to me. Thanks in advance.

I couldn't resist .. had to play with it a bit .. didn't care for it in sepia or b&w but I did use levels and curves to boost the colors and lower the lighting just a bit .. I hope you don't mind

Thank you for all the replies. They have all been very helpful. I might have to try something similar on a cloudy day. I'll have to wait for summer now though :) I have to say that it is great to be able to get such great (and quick) feedback on a picture. Thanks again. Oh and Katmystiry, I like your edit. I agree it looks better darker.

I agree. A nice and interesting shot, but to much water in front of the subject, especially in the upper left. Some adjustments can help tone it down a little and pull out the subject better.
