Hello,
This picture of T.O. of the Dallas Cowboys is very interesting to me. David Bergman said he "toned it up". //www.davidbergman.net/blog/
I really like the look. What does "toning it up" mean and how is it done?

I'm pretty sure "toning" is just another word for "editing."

| As I understood it, the original use of "toning" referred to appyling a sepia or cyanotype (for example) "tone" to the image. In this case, I think he just upped contrast using curves. Probably some Dodge/Burn to increase how dramatic the look is. |

Also played with shadows/highlights for that HDR look. |
