I left you a couple of comments Todd. :) And here follows Dr. Bigk's overall finding with your work that is completely open to be destroyed if you feel like it...

Looking at your portfolio as a whole, I found that it's a little all over the place. From still life, to sports, to candids.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with that, in fact it's the best way to learn - BUT I get the feeling that you haven't quite gotten any of them down just yet. Almost like you 'tested the water' with some of the genres and happened to shoot things as you were walking past - or 'happened to have your camera' at some of the places.

I think you need to focus a little more on planned shots like your highest scoring image to date, and the flower which you selective desaturated. Get a project in mind like: "Long exposure" and play around with that, till you feel you've nailed it.

Then move on to "Moving water" "portraits" etc.

And ONLY move on, once you feel satisfied you've got it. That way - the next time you "happened to have your camera" the aforementioned knowledge and experience would already be implanted - and your results will speak for themselves.

My 2 cents. :)

Left you a couple too dude.

People - a friendly request:

if you'd like some comments on your portfolio - I don't like commenting on your challenge entries - because a lof of people have done that already. And if your portfolio isn't archived properly, it's tedious to sift through ones that need some lovin.

So it'll help to be a bit more specific like: "Please comment on my: "Me in woman's clothing collection"" and if your portfolio is generally in need of comments, then so be it.
