My last 3 voters averaged 7.655. Now that is a trend I would love to see continue. Also picked up another fave. Last time I had two faves during voting was back in January! |

For sure, that's an explanation. Most voters won't take the time to solve your puzzle, so if your picture is not aesthetic in an abstract kind of way, it will score low. I had this revelelation several times: I did not specially like a shot, but when I finally recognized what it was, I loved it!

Still getting plenty of guesses that are identifying the material (easy) but not the object (hard).
Back up to about 5.16. Not too worried about the score on this one, but it would be nice to stay in the 5's. |

Considering your 4.16 average vote cast you should be very happy with a 5.06. (meaning that if you think the average shot here at dpc is a 4.16, then a 5.06 would be a very, very nice photo) |

To each there own on what they think is good or touches them or intrigues them...I give plenty of high scores, but as I have found on here, we all have a very different points of view on what is good, some vote on Talent some on Skill. But thank you for taking the time to point it out that my average scoring is so low compared to everyone else.
