try ISO 1600, and see if you can make out the UFO in the grainy haze!

Take the picture .. ANY picture.... Upload NOW!!! You still have 15 minutes. No time for Photoshop.... Then DREAM!!!! (and watch out for the little green men unless you have a model release on hand)

Oh yeah, it happened to me, I sucked at first, got better and then started sucking again, so I took a break and thought I had come back with a strong contender for the silohuette challenge. Sitting at a 5.4 with 6 comments that all tell me how great it is and one even saying it should ribbon yet still sitting around a 5.4. So it happens, you just have to remember to shoot for you, not for anyone else and be happy with what you produce. :)

it's unlikely you suck more than you did before. In my case, I suck equally as much, I'm just far more aware of my suckitude now.

*sniff* I went from a 6.2 to a 5.2 in one challenge! I'm a hasbeen, my ribbons are merely remnants of a time long gone *violin* But seriously, everyone thinks their own photos suck and if there are people who claim they dont then they're lying or full of themselves. Sure, we all have good days, but we're the only people who get to see the hundreds of shots we trashbin too. If we're not hard on ourselves then we'll never get better.
