Ooooh fun! I love snakes. Here is my baby:



And a gopher snake:



. . . and I was lucky enough to see a whipsnake about a year ago. She was pretty!

Coachwhips are fun snakes to try and get pictures of. They're so flighty and fast.

It just stuns me that people think that every snake in the water is a cottonmouth and every snake on land is a copperhead.

I spend quite a bit of time in the field getting shots of snakes, it certainly takes some patience. :)
