| Like the Economy, my effort showed a long and pronounced decline to an all-time low of 5.17. Some kind of stimulation package is giving it a bit of a boost lately, climbing steadily to 5.314. If voting continues until August I may get above the magic 6! |

Yes , I am surprised the voters have been very tough in this challenge. Mine has some what stabilized now though , but the score is not near the high that was reached earlier. My take is that a lot of voters in DPC expect the "WOW" factor or they expect the photo to have a "connection" with them at first glance. I feel that this is not as easy to achieve with an apple or apples..

Some voters/viewers have problem with my entry in term of colours. Perhaps this is the reason why my entry is doing badly. If only they could see the intentional use of the colours and not see their work on my work.

Oh, and please go easy on  Danger_Weasel. He's my nephew who just signed up on DPC today. I know he left a lot of comments when he was voting this challenge. It was actually interesting to watch him vote. His votes were most definitely about what struck his fancy and interested him. He gave low votes to some entries I thought were quite good, and high votes to some I had given mediocre votes on. I kept my mouth shut when he got to mine and he appears to have liked it. He didn't know it was mine until after he had voted.
He's hoping for a 6 in his first challenge. Reviewing the comments he gets ought to be educational. |
