I chose 10 images I took of my wife and sister for my portraiture collection and am hoping a few of you would be willing to take a few moments and let me know what you think of them.

Thanks in advance.

It really depends what they are to be used for, if it's a portfolio to encourage work then in all honestly I am not feeling most of them for one reason or another, a couple of reasons:
B&W hood image, the crop seems awkward, there is too much hood at the top of the picture and the balance seems to suffer because of it.
The colour 666 hand sign or "Westside" whichever it is heh! The pose is not good and the mouth shape is quite unflattering, her fingers look bent back at a very acute angle.
The tight colour face crop, I like the idea here, but I feel it needs more crop to the left the left eye really feels like it should be on the thirds line and I might have been tempted to leave her chin in and so pushing her eyes up the frame a little.
My favorite! The B&W image on the steps Wooden Bench is gorgeous, wonderful composition and the angle just works!
If however the sole purpose is to show family and friends some images you have captured of your loved ones, then it does that job over and above and the above comments can be largely ignored :)

It's more for that latter but I'm an aspiring photographer so I love being critqued and appreciate the honestly. For the record though... my wife's hand sign you are refering to means "I love you" ;) but point taken.
Thanks for the feed back guys!

I know I am adoreable and all that but her saying she loves me this early in our relationship is just a tad too fast ;)
That hand sign is one I used to use all the time at Iron Maiden concerts! Goodness me I never meant to send those guys that message ;)
Seriously though, that's a very pretty lady you have there, get some more quality images of her like the bench shot and you're on to a winner...
