I will be taking pictures for a local store's fashion show with four other photographers.
I have no idea of what to expect since I have never done this before.

It will be at a hotel ballroom so my guess is dark, no raised platform, and don't stand in front of the audience?

I guess I will just see what the others are doing and follow.

Are they having a dress rehearsal? If so, that would be the best time to go shoot since you won't have to be worried about ruining audience view. The store itself should be able to tell you if there will be a raised platform and special lighting considerations.

Good luck!
