Hey gang, I've been doing photography now for a year and for the first 11 months of that I learned on a Nikon D40x with the stock lens. I just now went out and purchased the Canon 5D MKII along with a 50mm 2.8f MACRO lens and I love it. For those wondering it is a great camera at a great price.
Here's a shot from my first shoot with it!

Thank you! Moving from my Nikon D40x to the Canon 5D MKII the biggest thing that I was astounded by, amongst many others, was the FULL FRAME sensor! It really does give you more real estate to shoot with. |

What do you mean? I'm not seeing what you are talking about in regards to the Flickr link and something being hacked? |

Yup. It's fine on page 1 but the problem is, your flicker link on page 2 ends with /photo/ryanstrong instead of /photos/ryanstrong
Oh, and wonderful images BTW.

Great scene, and I love the processing. An explanation of your processing technique would be an interesting read... hint, hint... ;-)

Haha... thank you all for your compliments. They are appreciated!
As for the questions about the post-processing... there is a lot of localized color correction via Curves, also a dodge and burn layer for skin retouching. That is about it! |
