| Ok I am doing some work in photoshop cs4 and when I make my layers sometimes it will not let me paint on any layers its like thier all locked but they are not, sometimes i can save it as a psd and open it back up and it starts working but this time it didnt work, so I flatten the image thinking that would help but its not anyone have any ideas wth is going on |

| i've never had that particular issue happen.. it just seems sometimes cs4 acts funny.. for instance, right now, I can't shortcut to the marquee tool.. maybe tomorrow it will work, but today it wont.. i never had these issues with cs3..lol.. sorry, wish I could help.. |
