Yes... congratulations... I tipped an English ashes win, and that was before they had the umpires and the Australian selectors on their side... not to mention some woeful captaining on Ponting's behalf. A sad sad day for Australian cricket indeed...

results of this series would be very different today if it were not for two things:

1. Ponting's foolishness of not using fast bowlers to remove tail in starting tests.

2. Rudi's umpiring.

People often argue that umpiring mistakes even out. But they do not even out, they spoil one match than they spoil another and so on.

I was really hoping Aussies can win this game.. it looked so when hussy n pointing were playing.. anyways, congrats to England team. I guess this is a great farewell gift to super freddy.... :) It again proves how important role Gilli,Warney,McGrath & Hayden were playing in Australian Cricket.... I thoroughly miss them..... :(
