Can someone reccomend long lasting rechargeble AA batteries for a flash? I am thinking about switching from regular ones but im worried that at wedding shoots the rechargebles wont last long enough.

I've had good luck with Duracells, but the Sanyo Eneloop batteries I am now using seem to hold up the best. Eneloops have a good reputation all around.

I looked some time ago, but instead opted for non-rechargeable lithium AA batteries in my flashes. It's amazing how long they last! And - they're also a bit lighter than normal AA batteries.

I recently tried out the duracells and I have been very happy with them.

I have NiMh rechargables that I use for my flashes. I use both the generic CVS brand and the Energizer. I prefer the CVS brand because they are cheaper and because one of the Energizers once exploded inside my flash after only 2 moths of sporadic use. It didn't hurt my flash, but I still wasn't happy.

I use some 2700 mah fuji batteries I got from ebay. I got 12 of them for smt like $16 and they've been solid as rocks for the 2 yrs I've had them in my 3 flashes.

I have about 40 Energizer Rechargable AAs, and I'm happy with them. They perform well and hold a charge quite a while. Only ever had one set die on me, and it was one the oldest and most heavily-used, so I can't really complain about that.
