Yep. Supervisors from the trash company showed up with a cleaning crew. Heard someone mention that the fluid can damage the paint (sent her off to get the car washed). The top will most likely need to handled with an insurance claim to replace (I guess...never seen this kind of mess before). |

Thanks! I gave her the fullsize rez files which show more detail.
She just came back from getting the car cleaned and the paint appears to be pitted. Might come out with a professional job with buffing, etc... Kinda don't think so however. The car top is trashed for sure. |

We had this happen when I was on a local volunteer fire dept. The truck had a fire in the trash compartment, then blew the hydraulic line while we were putting out the fire. I was covered with that fluid. Not easy to clean. |

I'm not sure which would be worse- that or being near the septic tanker that flipped yesterday on the overpass exit a couple miles from our place, spilling his load allllll over. Sure glad we're upwind! |

I'm thinking worse still would be becoming the victim of a series of carjackings on Tuesday that began right outside my house, and resulted in a fatal crash for the bad guy. |

Yeah, paint's probably pretty screwed.
Same thing happens if you get brake fluid on your paint. Total destruction. |

The verdict is in. Insurance company is paying for a new paint job and replacing the convertible cloth top. |

I didn't ask...guess I probably should, eh? I think she's going with the same metallic green. |
